Job summary

United Talent Group is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer in Western Australia. You will own end-to-end payroll across multiple sites, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance within a growing mining operations environment.

You’ll process timesheets, allowances, overtime and variations, support Pronto system optimisations, and manage year-end tasks and STP reporting. Strong Excel skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in end-to-end payroll, ideally standalone or senior payroll.
• Experience payroll processing for rostered operational workforces in mining/resources.
• Proficiency with Pronto payroll software is essential.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; knowledge of payroll tax and superannuation.
• Able to handle confidential information and meet recurring deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll for employees across multiple sites and rosters.
• Review timesheets, allowances, overtime and payroll variations for accuracy.
• Perform manual payroll calculations and adjustments as needed.
• Assist with implementing and optimising the Pronto payroll system.
• Maintain records; ensure compliance with taxation and superannuation.
• Handle year-end obligations, STP reporting, and payroll reconciliations.
• Develop payroll procedures to support business growth; be payroll SME.
• Act as primary payroll contact and support finance with related tasks.
