Job summary

Canva is seeking a Software Engineer – Integrations to join a remote team delivering robust integrations and long-term reliability for our software platform. You will work across backend and frontend areas to design and implement scalable integration features.

In this role you will collaborate with product owners and engineers in an Agile/DevOps environment, optimize performance, and contribute to the continuous delivery of high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

• Has strong Boolean search capabilities.
• Has a good knowledge of IT disciplines.
• Knows how to use LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect elegant, maintainable, testable solutions to complex technical problems.
• Integrate with third-party platforms and services to pull in content, services, and data.
• Work within defined project management guidelines and security best practice.
• Tackle performance bottlenecks and drive improvements to the backend and frontend infrastructure.
• Contribute technology inputs to product team and roadmap discussions.
• Champion scalable, robust, engineering best-practices, commercially viable technology outcomes.
• Support critical technology incidents as needed.
• Engage in architecture, scalability, security and performance initiatives.
