Job summary

ShiftCare is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer – Integrations to lead the main engineering team, architect scalable systems, and drive integrations with third‑party platforms. The role is remote with an international candidate base and reports to the CTO, overseeing health and outcomes across the team.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and leaders to craft roadmaps, promote engineering best practices, and deliver high‑quality product releases in a fast‑growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a software developer.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the main engineering team to develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
• Promote good engineering practices within the team and beyond.
• Identify and implement improvements to our products and processes to support our growth.
• Work on the team’s health on its path to becoming a high‑performing team
• Coordinate the delivery of features from the roadmap through each stage of the development cycle.
• Lead by example in terms of excellence, attention to detail, evaluating priorities and risks, designing scalable solutions, etc.
