Job summary

Endfire Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter for Darwin construction projects. This hands-on role involves leading small onsite crews, mentoring apprentices, and delivering fire protection installations across major commercial and industrial sites.

You will read technical drawings, install pipes, pumps and hydrants, and ensure systems meet Australian Standards with strong safety discipline. Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Sprinkler Fitter with leadership ability.
• Experience installing fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

Sprinkler Fitter - Construction Projects (Darwin)

Due to continued growth and an increase in large-scale commercial and industrial projects, Endfire Engineering is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join our Darwin construction team.

This is a hands-on role working across major construction projects, with the opportunity to take on Leading Hand responsibilities, lead small onsite crews and mentor apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of fire sprinkler and fire protection systems
• Install and connect pipework, pumps, hydrants, hose reels and associated equipment
• Test systems using air or water pressure to ensure functionality and compliance
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and technical specifications
• Conduct inspections and ensure work complies with Australian Standards
• Mentor apprentices, coordinate daily onsite activities and assist other team members to achieve project outcomes
• Lead small onsite crews where required, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and participate in site safety activities
• Work effectively within a team or independently to complete project tasks
• Complete relevant documentation and obtain customer sign-offs

About You

• Experienced Sprinkler Fitter (or equivalent trade qualification) with the ability to lead small onsite teams and mentor apprentices
• Experience installing fire protection systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience leading or coordinating onsite activities would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Candidates must hold valid Australian working rights
