Core Talent is actively recruiting an experienced Service Sprinkler Fitter to join a well-established fire protection team in Sydney. The role involves hands-on inspection, servicing, testing and maintenance across commercial sites, with adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Sprinkler Fitter Licence, NSW Driver’s Licence and has solid knowledge of AS 2118 and BCA requirements.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Current NSW Drivers Licence
• Sprinkler Fitter Licence
• Plumbing Licence highly desirable
• Solid knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and construction plans
• Good understanding of AS 2118 and fire sprinkler hazard classifications
• Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and BCA requirements
• Basic computer/office skills
• SimPRO experience is highly regarded
• Willingness to complete Working With Children Check, Australian Federal Police Check and pre EMP medical

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, testing, servicing and maintaining fire sprinkler and hydrant systems
• Carrying out repairs, replacements and rectification works
• Diagnosing faults and identifying defects or compliance issues
• Completing preventative maintenance in line with relevant Australian Standards and client requirements
• Conducting flow tests, pressure testing and other system testing
• Assisting with system repairs, modifications and minor works
• Identifying rectification works and providing information for quotations
• Completing service reports, test results and other documentation
• Working closely with Service Coordinators and clients to make sure jobs are completed efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, compliance and customer service

Job description

At Core Talent we're currently recruiting for an experienced Service Sprinkler Fitter to join an established fire protection business in Sydney, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, takes pride in their work and is looking for a stable role with a supportive team and plenty of variety across commercial sites.

About the Role

You’ll be working across a range of commercial sites, carrying out the inspection, testing, servicing, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler and hydrant systems.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, generally working 8‑hour days. Start and finish times can vary depending on site and operational requirements.
There are also opportunities for overtime and on‑call work if you're interested in earning additional income.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting, testing, servicing and maintaining fire sprinkler and hydrant systems
