Job summary

Marble Group is seeking a high-caliber Sprinkler Fitter to join a growing, industry-leading team delivering premier end-to-end fire compliance across the Greater Sydney area.

You will diagnose faults in wet fire systems, conduct routine inspections and maintenance on sprinklers, drencher systems, hydrants and pumps, and provide clear on-site reports before leaving the site. A structured schedule and strong team support aid your career progression.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate and NSW sprinkler-fitting license.
• Desirable NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate.
• FPAS accreditation and knowledge of AS 2118/AS 1851.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and rectify defects in wet fire systems to keep life-safety systems compliant.
• Inspect, test and maintain sprinklers, hydrants and pumps.
• Prepare clear defect and compliance reports on site.
• Carry out minor upgrades and valve overhauls across properties.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, fault-find, and rectify complex defects within wet fire systems, ensuring all building life-safety systems remain compliant.
• Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance on sprinklers, drencher systems, hydrants, and fire pumps in strict compliance with AS 1851.
• Clear Reporting: Complete clear, highly accurate, and transparent compliance and defect reports via tablet-based asset management software before leaving the site.
• Minor Works: Carry out minor upgrades, valve overhauls, and defect rectifications across a premium portfolio of commercial, strata, and industrial properties.

What You Need

• Trade Qualified: Trade Certificate in Fire Protection (Sprinkler Fitting).
• Licensing: Mandatory and valid NSW licensing for sprinkler fitting work.
• Supervisor's License: A current NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate is highly desirable
• Accreditation: FPAS accreditation
• Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Australian Standards (AS 2118 and AS 1851).
• Essentials: Current NSW Driver's License and a Construction White Card.
