Job summary

360 Degree Fire Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join as an Apprentice Sprinkler Pipe Fitter in Canberra, ACT. This full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems, with extensive on-the-job training and formal qualifications pursued alongside work.

You will work with experienced technicians, learn to measure, cut, and fit pipes, and develop knowledge of fire safety regulations while contributing to high safety

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing fire sprinkler systems, including pipework and fittings.
• Measure, cut, and fit pipes according to specs and safety standards.

About the role

360 Degree Fire Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Sprinkler Pipe Fitter. This is a full-time position based in Canberra, ACT, offering an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the fire services industry. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals to develop your technical skills in installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems. This role is fundamental to ensuring fire safety compliance and protecting properties and lives across the Canberra region.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems, including pipework, fittings, and associated components


• Learn to measure, cut, and fit pipes according to engineering specifications and Australian fire safety standards


• Support the maintenance and testing of existing fire sprinkler systems


• Assist in the commissioning of new fire safety systems


• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all health and safety protocols on site


• Complete on-the-job training whilst pursuing your formal apprenticeship qualifications


• Assist experienced technicians with system inspections and troubleshooting


• Document work completed and maintain accurate records of installations and maintenance


• Develop knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance requirements
