Job summary

Austek Roads (ACT) is seeking a skilled full-time Spreader Truck Driver to join our team in Hume, ACT. You will safely operate heavy bitumen spraying equipment and support roadworks, following directions from the crew leader, site foreperson and project managers.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence (HC/HR) and ability to obtain construction certifications.
• Asphalt/Seal or roadworks experience.
• White card holder.
• Silica and asbestos awareness training.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining bitumen spraying equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality results.
• Good communication and teamwork with the construction crew.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

What we’re looking for

• Current driver's licence (HC/HR) and ability to obtain necessary construction certifications
• Asphalt/Seal or roadworks exp
• White card
• Silica and Asbestos awareness training
• Proficient in the operation and maintenance of bitumen spraying equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, quality results
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the construction crew
