Better Rehab in Tasmania is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver assessments and therapy to both children and adults up to 65+ years, across community and clinic settings, with NDIS funding support.

The role involves working with autism, post-stroke and Parkinson’s, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists, to improve language, social communication and swallowing outcomes.

Formación

• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
• 1+ years’ post-qualification experience (3+ years for Senior positions).
• Speech Pathology Australia Registration.
• Police Check.
• Working with Children Check.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assessments and therapy across disorders including autism, post-stroke, and Parkinson’s.
• Support language, social communication and swallowing/dysphagia using AAC devices.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners.
• Engage with participants and families in community and clinic settings; report to NDIS.
