Everyday Independence in Hobart is seeking a Speech Pathologist for life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants. Role supports diverse settings—homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces—and offers full-time or flexible arrangements.

You’ll design therapy plans using evidence-based tools, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and build strong relationships with participants and families while benefiting from supervision and ongoing PD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology required.
• SPA registration required.
• Positive and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication and being a team player.
• Commitment to personal and professional development.
• Valid Australian driver’s license.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check.
• Experience in NDIS/disability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants in diverse settings (homes, schools, play spaces, workplaces, community centres).
• Create therapy plans using evidence-based assessments and support goals and funding.
• Work within an interdisciplinary health team.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and supports (family, carers, friends).
• Attend weekly team meetings in hub; share progress and learnings.
• Leverage supervision and guidance from Team Leader and clinical supervisor.
