Job summary

Healthcarelink Support in Tasmania seeks an experienced Speech Pathologist to work across clinic and community settings in Hobart or Launceston. You will assess, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders, and contribute to assistive technology and seating/postural support planning.

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred care statewide, with opportunities to mentor, teach students, and use telehealth where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Membership (or eligibility for membership) with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Speech Pathology.
• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel intrastate as required.
• Current Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People/NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Knowledge of NDIS and participant/family-centred practices desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, and providing intervention for communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Developing and implementing mealtime management and communication support plans.
• Working collaboratively with participants, families, and caregivers to achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Providing input into seating, postural support, and assistive technology solutions.
• Delivering services statewide, including via telehealth where appropriate.
