Job summary

Tasmania Government is seeking an Advanced Skills Speech and Language Pathologist for part-time duties across the East Coast of Tasmania. The role focuses on providing diagnostic and therapeutic SL services to schools and child and family centres, with leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

Role is part-time (15.2 hours per fortnight) and part of ongoing arrangements, with pathways for career growth and a child-safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology accredited by Speech Pathology Australia.
• Current Tasmanian RWVP registration or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Desirable: current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in complex areas of clinical practice.
• Deliver SL Pathology services to students and families in schools and child and family centres.
• Contribute to capacity building of school and child and family centre communities to improve access, participation and achievement.
