Job summary

Everyday Independence in Australia seeks Speech Pathologists to provide life-changing speech pathology to NDIS participants. This position is ideal for a full-time role, with part-time considered.

Work across homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres to create therapy plans and support participants in maximizing NDIS funding. You’ll join an interdisciplinary team with strong mentoring and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology required.
• SPA Registration required.
• Positive and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Commitment to personal and professional development.
• Valid driver's license.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check.
• Working with Children Check.
• Experience in NDIS/disability is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide life-changing speech pathology services to NDIS participants in diverse settings (homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, community centres).
• Develop therapy plans using evidence-based assessment methods and support participants in achieving goals and maximizing funding.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports.
• Attend weekly team meetings and engage with mentoring from Team Leader and Therapy Mentor.
