Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver life-changing therapy for NDIS participants across diverse settings including homes, schools, and community spaces. The role supports goal achievement and optimized funding through collaborative, evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology with SPA registration.
• Valid driver’s license and Working with Children Check.
• NDIS/disability experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team-oriented approach.
• Positive and flexible attitude and commitment to development.

Responsibilities

• Working in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
• Creating therapy plans and providing life-changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
• Working within an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
• Building meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
• Attending weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
• Tapping into the knowledge and support of the Team Leader and Therapy Mentor.
