Job summary

Early Start Australia is hiring a Speech Pathologist to deliver tailored therapy programs across clinic, home and school settings for children aged 0-16. You will work within a multidisciplinary allied health team, coordinating with other professionals to meet client goals and maintain high standards of privacy and reporting.

The role involves assessments, program development, communication with families and stakeholders, and occasional home visits.

Qualifications

  • Speech Pathology degree and eligibility for professional registration (AHPRA) in Australia.
  • Registration with AHPRA and SPA required to practice.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check completed or in progress.
  • Current Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Working with Children Check or WWVP where required by state.
  • National Police Check completed.
  • Accredited First Aid Certificate.
  • CPD and professional registration maintenance as required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and complete assessments appropriate for each client.
  • Manage a discipline-specific caseload, including complex clients.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust tailored therapy programs.
  • Deliver services across clinic, home, school, and community settings.
  • Collaborate with allied health team members to improve outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver group therapy and parent workshops.
  • Maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement.
