Job summary

Ability Action Australia is expanding its team and is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Canberra region, working close to home. You will manage a varied community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach, delivering evidence-based therapy and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support outcomes for people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community‑based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
• Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant‑centred goals.
• Deliver evidence‑based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals.
