Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Nowra and Wollongong region, with flexible options to work close to home.

You will manage a varied community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings, deliver evidence-based therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful outcomes for people across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied, community-based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings.
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults.
• Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC.
• Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant-centred goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy that builds communication, participation and independence.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes.
• Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals.

As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Nowra & Wollongong region. Depending on where you’re based - work close to home!

In this role you will:
