Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Canberra region, delivering evidence-based therapy in homes, schools and outreach settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support communication, participation and independence.

You will manage a varied caseload across the lifespan, including feeding, early language, dysphagia and AAC, with supervision and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Pathology Australia membership required.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.

As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to support participants across the Canberra region, depending on where you’re based - work close to home!

In this role you will:

• Manage a varied, community‑based caseload across homes, schools and outreach settings
• Work with individuals across the lifespan, including early intervention, paediatrics, adolescents and adults
• Support a range of needs such as feeding, early language, dysphagia, communication difficulties and AAC
• Conduct observations and standardised assessments to develop meaningful, participant‑centred goals
