Job summary

Each seeks an experienced Early Years Specialist to join a diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. You will deliver supports to families, tailor options via assessments, and empower caregivers with coaching to build skills for everyday life.

You will guide families through NDIA plan processes and document progress in the NDIA system, collaborating across settings to ensure inclusive participation for children.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology required.
• Strong knowledge of child development and ability to identify developmental issues.
• Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities and implementing home strategies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIA Early Childhood Approach and NDIS-related best practices.

Responsibilities

Your role, your impact

Looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? Each needs an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you’ll:

• Deliver supports, in partnership with families, to help them achieve their goals, using evidence informed best practice.
• Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.
• Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills.
• Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
• kept thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system.
• Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
• Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme

• Competitive pay - $85k negotiable, plus generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550
• No Billable hours – We focus on quality support.
• Flexible working – Work fulltime or part time 4 days a week. After full training and caseload, the opportunity to work from home, in the community and agreed days in the office will be offered.
