Job summary

Everyday Independence is seeking Speech Pathologists to deliver life-changing services to NDIS participants in settings ranging from homes to schools and community centres.

You will create therapy plans, use evidence-based assessments, and work within an interdisciplinary team to help participants achieve their goals and maximise NDIS funding. A part-time option (4 days/week) or 9-day fortnight is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology required.
  • SPA Registration required.
  • NDIS/Disability experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide life-changing speech pathology services to NDIS participants in diverse settings (homes, schools, community centers).
  • Create therapy plans using evidence-based tools and supports.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and engage families and carers.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and participate in mentoring.

Job description

Job title - Speech Pathologist

Location - Beresfield

Employment Type - Full time, Part time (4 days per week) or 9-day fortnight

Salary - $93,120 – $110,143 per annum (inclusive of annual leave loading) + superannuation + vehicle options + mobile + laptop + options to boost salary up to $10,000

Supervision and Support – Valued at up to $22,000

Bonuses – Up to $10,000 Change Maker Bonus (Paid at 6 months and 12 months)

Caseload - Opportunities to specialise in paediatrics, youth or adult streams

Professional Development – PD allowance negotiable

Formal learning opportunities available through registered training organisations and universities

Visa Sponsorship – 482 visa sponsorship considered

About The Role

We are looking for Speech Pathologists to provide life-changing speech pathology to NDIS participants. This position is ideal if you are seeking a full-time position, however part-time would also be considered.

As a Speech Pathologist at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same:

  • Working in the social model means you’ll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
  • Utilizing an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, you'll create therapy plans and provide life-changing speech pathology to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
  • Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals
  • Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)
  • Attend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
  • You’ll tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor

  • Bachelor's degree in a Speech Pathology
  • SPA Registration

  • Experience working in NDIS/disability is preferred, however not essential.
