Job summary

Each is staffing an Early Years Specialist to support families through the Early Childhood Approach (ECA) program in Ipswich, Queensland. The role, based on the lands of the Yuggera, Jagera & Ugarapul Peoples, offers hybrid options and full-time or part-time (4 days) arrangements, with no billable hours.

The role focuses on delivering evidence-informed supports, using assessments and coaching to empower families, and linking families to NDIA processes and community resources for inclusive

Qualifications

• Hold a degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of child development and early intervention.
• Have a proven track record in building relationships and supporting children and families experiencing developmental delays or disability.

Responsibilities

• Use assessments, observations, and child development knowledge to tailor support options that suit each child and family.
• Empower families, caregivers, and professionals by building skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using coaching approaches.

• Maintain thorough and accurate records in the NDIA business system, including conversations, developmental progress, and goals.
• Guide families through NDIS processes, including plan application, implementation, and funding.

Job Description

Through the Early Childhood Approach (ECA) program, we support families by helping them understand their children's development and unique needs, find the right support services, and build the skills they need to support their child’s growth. We also connect families with local community resources to ensure they have access to the broader support network available in their area.

Your role, your impact
Looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? Each needs an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you'll:

Who we're looking for

• Hold a degree qualification in Speech Pathology.

• Have a proven track record in building relationships and supporting children and families experiencing developmental delays or disability, including implementing effective strategies for use at home and in other settings.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best‑practice principles, alongside a strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
