Job summary

EACH is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join a diverse allied health team. You will deliver supports in partnership with families and tailor options using your expertise in child development and NDIA processes.

You will document progress, coach families, and connect children with their communities, ensuring inclusive participation and outcomes. A strong induction program, leadership development, and flexible work arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Expert knowledge in child development and ability to identify developmental issues.
• Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including home and community settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and related best practice principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supports, in partnership with families, to help them achieve their goals using evidence-informed practice.
• Use assessments and observations to tailor support options for each child and family.
• Empower families, caregivers and professionals to build skills and confidence for everyday living.
• Connect children and families with their community to ensure inclusion in settings they choose.
• Keep thorough records of conversations, development progress and goals in the NDIA system.
• Guide families through the application, implementation and funding processes of NDIS plans.

THE ROLE

Looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? EACH needs an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you'll:

• Deliver supports, in partnership with families, to help them achieve their goals, using evidence informed best practice.
• Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family.
• Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills.
• Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose.
• Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system.
• Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
