Rio Tinto is seeking a Specialist Maintenance Systems to drive asset management processes and data standards across Pacific operations. The role focuses on maintaining systems, improving work management practices and ensuring compliance with asset management standards.

You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, coach teams, and lead system audits to enhance data quality and performance across assets.

Qualifications

• Strong transactional experience in SAP applications to work management, shutdown processes and budget controls.
• Experience in asset management, maintenance planning, scheduling and work management principles.
• Experience maintaining asset master data with focus on compliance and data quality.
• Strong knowledge of asset management systems and work management processes, particularly SAP.
• Collaborative mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills and focus on continuous improvement.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and capability development.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong transactional experience in SAP, specifically its application to work management, shutdown management and Zero Based Budget processes
• Experience within asset management, maintenance planning, scheduling and work management principles
• Experience managing or maintaining asset master data with a strong focus on compliance and data quality
• Strong knowledge of asset management systems and work management processes, particularly SAP
• Knowledge of asset management processes and maintenance execution practices
• A collaborative mindset, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
• A proactive approach to process improvement and capability development
• The ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple functions to drive positive outcomes
• Experience coaching, supporting or training users on systems and processes
