Job summary

MGN Civil is a marine civil contractor providing land reclamation services and operates across Australia. We are seeking skilled operators for bulldozer, grader or excavator to support our Port of Brisbane projects.

The roster runs 6am start, Monday to Friday, with a shorter Saturday, at a flat $49.00 per hour inclusive of penalties plus meal and travel allowances. You must have GPS experience, be able to read plans, and hold a current Driver Licence and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate civil plant bulldozer, grader, excavator or a combination of all three.
• Read and interpret plans and use GPS guidance.
• Complete physical groundwork in sandy conditions to assist with preparation (geofabrics & survey flags).
• Ensure safety and maintain radio communication on site.
• Contribute to a team-based work environment and be willing to learn new skills.

MGN Civil is a Specialist Bulldozer, Grader or Excavator operators for our land reclamation work at the Port of Brisbane.

Roster

The roster is 6am start, Monday to Friday, 10.5 hour days, with shorter Saturday work day.

A Flat rate of $49.00 per hour will be paid inclusive of penalties, plus additional meal and travel allowance.

The Role

Operation of civil plant Bulldozer, Grader, Excavator or a combination of all three.

• GPS experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• You will be required to complete physical groundwork in sandy conditions to assist with preparation (geofabrics & survey flags), pipeline placement to enable completion of land reclamation works.
• Good radio communication skills to ensure safe and productive work.
• Adherence to safety requirements onsite.
• Strong work ethic and team first attitude.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Additionally, the successful candidate will need current Driver Licence, and hold a construction industry white card prior to starting employment.
