Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a dedicated Care Worker for our Overnight Respite Cottage in Dubbo. The role involves delivering personal care, medication supervision, and social support to guests staying in our respite cottages, not in traditional aged care homes.

You will work as part of a supportive team, following individual care plans, and helping guests enjoy daily activities and meals. Experience in aged care or disability is essential; First Aid is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care and/or disability is essential.
• Certificate III in Individual Support is highly desirable.
• First Aid certificate is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to guests per care plan.
• Supervise medications as required.
• Offer social support and participate in daily activities.
• Assist with daily tasks and meals in the cottage.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.

HammondCare are looking for Permanent Part-Time & Casual Carers in the Dubbo** **Respite Cottage Care Worker - what's involved in the role?** HammondCare’s Respite cottages provide guests with individualised support from our professional staff and are ideal for stays of up to 10 nights.
