Qualifications

• Relevant qualification (Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine (South Indian experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes, especially South Indian cuisine.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning and development.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.
