Job summary

Cleanworks Australia Pty Ltd in South Australia is seeking an Account Manager to support our SA team, handling planning, coordination and delivery of cleaning services across the portfolio, while ensuring compliance and reporting.

The role requires strong organisational and people-management skills, a valid driver’s licence, and flexibility to travel between Adelaide and regional SA; a company car is provided and development opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience.
• Experience in an operations, team leader, or supervisory role—preferably in cleaning.
• Strong knowledge of workforce rostering systems.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• High-level communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Ability to enforce grooming and presentation standards.
• Solid understanding of WHS standards and site compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
• Valid driver’s licence with willingness to travel throughout Adelaide and regional SA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and fill sick and holiday relief shifts promptly.
• Support payroll rosters and contribute to budget targets.
• Complete onboarding and training for new cleaning staff during site acquisitions and provide ongoing upskilling.
• Lead the Cleanworks All Star Training Academy for staff development.
• Conduct toolbox talks across the portfolio as directed.
• Assist with periodic cleaning and site visits as needed.
• Support mobilisation and execution of new client contracts.
• Ensure compliance with uniform and presentation standards.
• Monitor WHS compliance across sites.
• Provide administrative support and reporting for SA operations.
• Support recruitment, training, motivation, and team culture development.
• Utilise rostering software for scheduling and planning.
• Conduct QA checks per client contracts and internal benchmarks.
• Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for new business opportunities.
