Swillhouse, a premium hospitality group, invites applications for a Sous Chef role at Barons Bar & Grill on Sydney Harbour. You will lead kitchen sections during service, coordinate stations and support the Head Chef in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes daily.

Qualifications

• Sous Chef in premium dining restaurant.
• Calm and professional under high-pressure service.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience mentoring junior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead sections of the kitchen during service and coordinate between stations.
• Support Head Chef in delivering high-quality food each service.
• Maintain mise en place, prep systems and kitchen organisation.
• Assist with training and development of junior chefs.
• Assist with ordering, stock control and supplier deliveries.
• Monitor portioning, waste and kitchen efficiency.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and WHS standards at all times.
• Contribute to a positive厨房 culture built on professionalism and teamwork.
