Job summary

Cruise Bar and Restaurant in Sydney is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our fast-paced kitchen and iconic venue, delivering exceptional guest experiences with unrivalled harbour views.

You will liaise with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to supervise operations, lead staff training, ensure food quality and kitchen cleanliness, manage stock, and report daily production while inspiring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Two years in a similar role.
• Experience in a multifaceted high-volume venue.
• Experience supervising procedures and standards in a kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Ability to work a seven-day rotating roster.
• Passion for training and developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Head Chef & Sous Chef to supervise kitchen operations.
• Supervise production, preparation & quality of food.
• Lead staff training program.
• Coordinate cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Conduct & review food stock control systems.
• Generate & report daily production.
• Deliver effective communication across teams and management.
