Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment presents an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Procurement & Production Manager in the food and beverage sector. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, co-manufacturing, and contract negotiations across a portfolio of brands, ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability.

You will build strong supplier partnerships, manage co-manufacturers, identify cost savings, and collaborate with Finance, Planning, NPD and Operations to support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in procurement, sourcing or contract manufacturing within FMCG.
• Proven experience managing co-manufacturers, supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Strong commercial acumen, project management skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
• A collaborative approach and confidence to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and co-manufacturing projects, including product transitions between manufacturers.
• Negotiate competitive contracts across ingredients, packaging and production.
• Build strong supplier and manufacturing partnerships while driving performance, quality and reliability.
• Identify cost savings and efficiencies without compromising product quality, food safety or sustainability.
• Partner with Finance, Planning, NPD and Operations to support product innovation and business growth.
