Job summary

Paxus is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support delivery of infrastructure and technology solutions across complex projects in Brisbane. The role is hybrid, offering 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with an ASAP start and a 6-month contract likely to extend.

You will design and implement scalable infrastructure, produce architectural artefacts, and guide teams across technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture or similar role.
• Experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in Energy, Gas, Mining, Renewables or Construction sectors.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site travel.

• Develop and maintain architectural artefacts, policies, procedures and reference architectures.
• Provide architecture recommendations aligned with project requirements and industry best practice.
• Promote architecture standards and requirements across technical and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Monitor adherence to architecture standards and procedures.
• Support the integration of automation architecture with organisational standards.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation, reusability and improved architecture across technology initiatives.

About You

• 10+ years’ experienceas a Solutions Architect or similar.
• Strong experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Previous architecture experience within Energy, Gas, Mining, Renewables or Construction.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working across complex projects and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site travelwhen required.
