Job summary

Paxus Australia Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support the delivery of infrastructure and technology solutions across complex projects in Brisbane.

This contract role is initially 6 months with a likely extension, and a hybrid arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). The ideal candidate has 10+ years in solution architecture, strong experience with large-scale infrastructure and exposure to Energy, Gas, Mining, Renewables or Construction, along with

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience as a Solutions Architect or similar.
• Experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Experience within Energy, Gas, Mining, Renewables or Construction.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site travel.

• Deliver Solution Architecture services across projects.
• Design, architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural artefacts, policies, procedures and reference architectures.
• Provide architecture recommendations aligned with project requirements and industry best practice.
• Promote architecture standards and requirements across technical and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Monitor adherence to architecture standards and procedures.
• Support the integration of automation architecture with organisational standards.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation, reusability and improved architecture across technology initiatives.

Location: Brisbane

• Develop and maintain architectural artefacts, policies, procedures and reference architectures.
• Provide architecture recommendations aligned with project requirements and industry best practice.
• Promote architecture standards and requirements across technical and business stakeholders.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Monitor adherence to architecture standards and procedures.
• Support the integration of automation architecture with organisational standards.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation, reusability and improved architecture across technology initiatives.

About You

• 10+ years’ experience as a Solutions Architect or similar.
• Strong experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Previous architecture experience within Energy, Gas, Mining, Renewables or Construction.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working across complex projects and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Willingness to undertake occasional site travel when required.
