Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the development and guidance of ERP-related solution architectures for a Federal Government Department in Canberra. The role focuses on strategic and technical oversight of ERP delivery, with an emphasis on governance, architecture reviews, and cloud/on-premise assessment.

The contract runs till June 2027 with potential extensions. Australian citizens with the ability to obtain baseline clearance are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and governance artefacts.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow within ICT environments.
• Experience with government ICT transformations and policy alignment.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the review, development and sustainment of the agency’s application governance artefacts, including strategies, architectures, roadmaps and policies.
• Review existing deployments both on premise and in-cloud for documentation, sustainability and alignment with governance.
• Document issues, risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic and technical guidance and lead/assist with the development of solution architectures, specifically solutions relating to the delivery of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Initial contract till June 2027 + possible extensions
• Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain one quickly

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the review, development and/or sustainment of the agency’s application governance artefacts, including application strategies, architectures, technology roadmaps, policies, and practices.
• Undertake targeted review of existing application deployments both on premise and in-cloud, including assessment of documentation, sustainability, and alignment with agency application governance.
• Based on review findings, document identified issues, risks, and opportunities, together with associated actionable recommendations.
