Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd is seeking an Identity Architect to lead strategic design, governance and uplift of enterprise identity and access management across a government ICT environment in Canberra. The role focuses on Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and Zero Trust-aligned controls, with onsite work and potential hybrid arrangements.

The position requires NV1 clearance eligibility, and the contract duration runs to 30 June 2027 with an extension option.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and governing enterprise identity and access management architecture.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, federation, SSO, MFA and identity integration.
• Deep knowledge of identity lifecycle management, privileged access, RBAC/ABAC and entitlement governance.
• Strong architecture leadership, stakeholder engagement and technology risk management capability.

• Develop identity roadmaps, standards, reference patterns and architecture decisions.

Identity Architect | Microsoft Entra ID & IAM

Lead the strategic design, governance and uplift of enterprise identity and access management architecture across a complex government ICT environment, including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and Zero Trust-aligned identity controls.

Location: Canberra, ACT

Work Arrangement: Onsite, with hybrid working arrangements potentially accepted

Contract Duration: To 30 June 2027, with 1 x 12-month extension option

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain NV1 clearance
