Lawrence & Hanson is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive solar growth across WA, building market presence and delivering solutions that make a difference. You’ll be the face of the business, responsible for sales performance and expanding our customer base.

You’ll engage new and existing customers, understand needs, and propose the right products and services while upholding safety and teamwork across branches. This role offers career development and a values‑driven culture.

• Proven sales experience with demonstrated success in business development or account management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Solid product and industry knowledge—technical experience ideal.

Responsibilities

• Grow and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify sales opportunities, conduct effective qualifying calls, and close new business
• Visit customers to understand their needs and match them with the right products and services
• Meet budgeted sales and margin targets across your assigned customer base
• Work collaboratively with branch managers, regional managers, and branch teams
• Maintain excellent supplier relationships to support customer outcomes
• Promote and contribute to a positive safety culture—identifying hazards, reporting risks, and supporting a safe workplace
