Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead development teams across recruitment, onboarding and performance. You will set engineering standards, governance and code quality while overseeing agile delivery and technical direction.

Partner with product management to shape roadmaps and feasibility for cloud-based applications. A strong SDLC background and hands-on web tech (TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js) are essential.

Qualifications

Strong leadership of software teams across multiple disciplines.
Deep understanding of modern SDLC practices and agile principles.
Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on with modern web stacks (TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage development teams across recruitment, onboarding, performance and development.
Set and maintain engineering standards, code quality frameworks and governance.
Oversee agile delivery, scoping, direction and complex engineering decisions.
Partner with product management on roadmaps and feasibility.
