Mitti by SafetyCulture in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Software Engineer II to help build AI connectors and integrations that move data across our platform. You'll work in Foundations engineering, shaping MCP-based data flows and enterprise-grade authentication.

The role emphasizes ownership from design to delivery, collaboration with billing and pricing, and delivering scalable, secure integrations for large customers.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a strongly-typed backend language (Go) with frontend/infrastructure exposure.
• Experience building third-party integrations and ETL pipelines.
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Help design and build MCP-based data connectors and platform-level AI agent capabilities.
• Contribute to the foundational platform for authentication, authorization, and rate limiting as integrations scale.
• Support and evolve existing integrations, webhooks, and the public API.
• Collaborate with billing engineers on enterprise-grade integrations and usage-based pricing tiers.
• Own features end-to-end from inception to delivery with stakeholders, product, and design.
