Job summary

Mitti by SafetyCulture is seeking a Software Engineer for the Foundations engineering group to design and implement data connectors and integrations that move data into and out of the Mitti platform. You will work on AI Connectors, MCP servers, authentication, and the public REST API while supporting enterprise-grade features like SSO and SCIM.

You'll collaborate with billing, product, and design, taking ownership of features end-to-end, and contributing to a scalable, secure, and well-governed

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a strongly-typed backend language – Go is preferred.
• Strong design patterns and distributed systems thinking.
• Practical experience building third‑party integrations (webhooks, APIs, ETL).
• Comfort with ambiguity and shaping direction beyond tickets.
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build MCP-based data connectors and integrations.
• Support and evolve existing integrations, automations, webhooks, and public API.
• Collaborate with billing and enterprise stakeholders on usage-based pricing and tiers.
• Own features from inception to delivery with stakeholders, product and design.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and improving team processes.
