Job summary

Nine is seeking a Software Engineer in the Consumer Platform team to help build foundational platforms unifying identity, engagement, billing, and subscriptions across Nine’s digital products.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions, contribute to platform reliability, and communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions across multiple systems.
• Strong backend and frontend tech skills: .NET, Oracle, GoLang, JS, React.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS/GCP and solid architectural pattern knowledge.
• Track record of improving engineering tools and team processes.
• Clear communication to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sprint tasks with autonomy and take ownership of squad issues.
• Assist team in developing solution designs and identify new techniques or technologies.
• Actively improve squad-level practices, tools, and standards, boosting quality and security.
• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers; clearly communicate technical concepts and document design decisions.
• Collaborate to solve complex problems and ensure unresolved issues are captured in the backlog.
