Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role.
• Experience building high-traffic backend applications.
• Working experience with back-end technologies (e.g Java, Spring / Spring Boot) and databases (e.g PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Understanding of cloud-native development on platforms such as AWS, including deployment, scaling, and operational considerations.
• Containerisation technology concepts, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and automated testing practices.
• Experience using observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, or similar) to support production systems.
• A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement.
• An understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
• Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work you're doing.
• A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care.
• Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Edge Delivery Services desirable.

As a Back‑End Developer, you’ll be responsible for guiding and leading the architecture, delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit. A hands‑on, highly skilled software developer with the experience to dive into code to deliver high quality, well‑designed software. You will share responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including but not limited to; achieving desired business outcomes, meeting reliability and performance expectations and safely managing security and data privacy concerns.

You’ll have:
