Job summary

Qantas Airways in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Back-End Developer to architect and deliver robust, scalable systems powering digital experiences. You will develop software, ensure reliability, performance, data security, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role.
• Extensive experience building and maintaining backend systems using Java and related technologies.
• Proficiency in API development, Service Oriented Architecture, Message Queueing, Event Driven Architecture, Microservices and databases.
• Proven technology experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes.
• A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement.
• A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
• Highly dedicated ethos with accountability for the work.
