The Garbage Company in Melbourne is seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator to own end-to-end content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. You will film, edit and publish engaging content while actively growing our organic presence and brand awareness.

Ideal candidates are comfortable on camera, can generate fresh ideas, and collaborate with the team to drive engagement. This role is part-time with flexible hours and potential for future full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience creating engaging content for IG, TikTok and Facebook.
• Understand organic growth and brand awareness without paid ads.
• Confident appearing on camera.
• Strong video filming and editing skills.
• Proficient with Canva or CapCut.
• Knowledge of algorithms, trends and engagement strategies.
• Ability to generate original content ideas independently.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• Willingness to experiment with new ideas.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, Facebook videos and posts.
• Develop and execute content strategies to grow organic presence.
• Film, edit and produce high-quality short-form video content.
• Appear on camera and represent the brand.
• Design eye-catching graphics, carousels, stories and posts.
• Brainstorm original, entertaining content ideas.
• Grow followers and engagement organically.
