Job summary

Mitchelton Wines in Nagambie, Victoria, invites applications for a part-time Social Media Coordinator to capture the character of our three venues and share it with guests online.

You’ll work with the sales, marketing and venue teams to plan, create and publish content across Instagram and Facebook, manage events coverage, and build a standout portfolio from a winery, brewery & distillery environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media, marketing or content, or a strong portfolio.
• Ability to plan and publish content across multiple brands.
• Graphic design and photo/video editing skills with an eye for brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver content across Instagram, Facebook and emerging platforms for all three venues.
• Capture high-quality photo and video across our venues and experiences.
• Create graphics and edit images using Photoshop, Canva or similar tools.
• Write on-brand copy reflecting each venue's voice and character.
• Bring fresh ideas from current trends to engage audiences and guests.
• Engage with the community and respond thoughtfully to comments and messages.
• Track performance and share insights to sharpen content strategy.
• Support broader marketing activity and digital assets as needed.

Social Media Coordinator: Mitchelton, Nagambie Brewery & Distillery and Nagambie Waterfront Motel (Permanent Part Time, Potential for Full Time)

Mitchelton, Nagambie Brewery & Distillery and Nagambie Waterfront Motel are three much-loved destinations in Nagambie, regional Victoria. Between them, they offer a winery, a brewery and distillery, places to eat and drink, events and accommodation. People travel here to escape, and every corner has a story worth telling.

The opportunity

This is a rare chance to take real ownership of a role and make it your own. We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator to bring our story to life online by capturing the character and atmosphere of each venue and sharing it with the people who love what we do.

This is a permanent part-time role, based on site in Nagambie, with the potential to grow into full-time hours for the right person. We're flexible on how the hours are set up, and working within school hours could be considered.

The role

You’ll be a key part of a close-knit team, working hand in hand with our sales, marketing and venue teams across all three businesses to plan, create and publish content that grows our audience and brings guests through the door. It's hands-on and varied, covering events, guest experiences and the everyday moments that make each place special. With plenty happening across our venues, you'll need to juggle competing priorities and keep things moving.

What you'll do

Plan and deliver content calendars across Instagram, Facebook and emerging platforms for Mitchelton, Nagambie Brewery & Distillery and Nagambie Waterfront Motel

Capture high-quality photo and video across our venues and experiences

Create graphics and edit images using Photoshop, Canva or similar tools

Write considered, on-brand copy that reflects each venue's voice and character

Bring fresh ideas that draw on current trends and formats

Engage with our community and respond thoughtfully to comments and messages

Track performance and share insights to sharpen content and strategy

Support broader marketing activity and digital assets as needed

What we're looking for

A genuine team player who collaborates easily across venues and departments and pitches in where needed

Strong ability to prioritise and manage a busy, shifting workload across multiple brands

Experience in social media, marketing or content, or a strong portfolio and the drive to grow into the role

Graphic design and photo editing skills, including Photoshop, Canva, CapCut or Adobe Suite

Confidence behind a camera, with video editing skills a strong advantage

A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through

A careful eye for detail and brand consistency

A genuine interest in social media and hospitality
