Job summary

Respect Group is seeking a Social Care Assistant to provide meaningful activities and supportive care at Coroneagh Park in Penguin, TAS. This fixed-term maternity cover runs from October 2026 to 26 February 2027 and requires working as part of a dedicated care team to enhance residents' wellbeing and engagement.

The role emphasises compassionate support, organised activity delivery and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant Certificate III or IV in aged care, leisure or lifestyle.
• Experience in aged care or running lifestyle activities is preferred.
• Current National Police Certificate.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

We are looking for a Social Care Assistant to join the team at Coroneagh Park in Penguin on a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave until 26 February 2027.

This role supports the delivery of meaningful social care and lifestyle activities, helping residents stay active, connected and engaged. You will work alongside the wider care team to support resident wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
