Job summary

Respect Group is seeking a Social Care Assistant to provide meaningful activities and supportive care at Coroneagh Park in Penguin, TAS. This fixed-term maternity cover runs from October 2026 to 26 February 2027 and requires working as part of a dedicated care team to enhance residents' wellbeing and engagement.

The role emphasises compassionate support, organised activity delivery and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant Certificate III or IV in aged care, leisure or lifestyle.
• Experience in aged care or running lifestyle activities is preferred.
• Current National Police Certificate.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with meaningful activities and social engagement.
• Assist the care team to promote wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with residents, families and staff to organise activities.
