Webuild S.p.A. in Australia is seeking an SMP Supervisor - Mechanical for the Woodman Point Project in Henderson, WA. You will lead on-site mechanical activities across structural, piping and equipment works, ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates bring significant SMP supervision experience, a mechanical trade qualification and strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. The role supports safe, compliant execution on a major EPC alliance.

SMP Supervisor - Mechanical

Date: 27 Oct 2026 Location: Perth, Australia Company: Webuild S.p.A. Want to work on an iconic local project? Clough is in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities. The scope of the project includes upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system. This will enable the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use. The solid material, known as biosolids, will be used as a soil conditioner. Another by-product of the sludge treatment process is biogas, which can be used as a source of energy. We have an exciting opportunity for an SMP Supervisor - Mechanical, to join the Woodman Point Project team in Henderson. The SMP Supervisor is responsible for providing on-site leadership and direction for mechanical activities, across all associated structural, mechanical and piping activities. The SMP Supervisor will also help manage site safety, quality and schedule within budget. Tasks and responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement a plan for early SMP mechanical activities in alignment with project schedule

• Demonstrate significant experience as an SMP Supervisor, preferably with an EPC contractor in a construction or heavy industry environment
• Mechanical trade qualification
• Demonstrated hydro testing experience
• Excellent communication, people management and leadership skills
• Experience working under Permit to Work systems / conditions
• Able to read and interpret SMP drawings and P&ID’s
• Able to understand Scope of Works documentation
• Read and understand relevant technical specifications
• Competent performing and implementing risk assessment reviews and approval
