Webuild S.p.A. (Perth, WA) invites applications for a QA/QC Inspector – SMP to join the Woodman Point Project Team.

You will perform inspections in line with Project Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans for SMP activities, and ensure documentation is complete and retrievable. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 3+ years’ QC inspector experience in SMP.

Competenze

• Minimum 3+ years as a Quality Control Inspector in SMP project environments.
• Solid understanding of construction materials, methods and QC procedures.
• Familiar with codes, standards and safety regulations relevant to SMP work.

Mansioni

• Inspect SMP works to verify compliance with project specs and industry standards.
• Review drawings, specs and contract docs for construction feasibility.
• Conduct site inspections and tests to ensure safety, regulatory and quality compliance.
• Document non-conformances and work with the team to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions.
• Collect QC records and support final As-Built dossier preparation.

Clough, as part of the Integrate Alliance, is delivering the engineering, procurement and construction for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Water Treatment Facility in Henderson. This is a significant sustainable infrastructure project for the Perth and broader WA community, reducing waste and emissions. We have an exciting opportunity for a QA/QC Inspector – SMP to join the Woodman Point Project Team in Henderson. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections in accordance with Project Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans with reference to SMP activities. You will further follow relevant specified procedures and issue the relevant quality records. Other tasks and responsibilities include:

• Inspect and verify the quality of SMP works and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accuracy and feasibility of construction methods
• Conduct regular site inspections and tests on workmanship to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Document and report on quality issues, including any non-compliance, defects, or deviations from standards, and work with the project team to resolve them
• Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and engineers to ensure that all corrective actions are implemented and issues are addressed promptly
• Conduct planning, witness inspections and collect relevant QC records
• Verify the collection and management of documents certifying test, controls and inspections, checking that all records are properly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Quality Control Inspector in SMP
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control procedures
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
• Proficiency in using inspection tools, measuring instruments, and relevant software
• Current Australian “C” Class Driver’s Licence
• Construction White Card.
