WeBuild in Henderson, WA is seeking an SMP Supervisor - Mechanical to lead on-site mechanical activities for the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment upgrade.

You will manage subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, align with schedule, and provide guidance to team members. EPC environment experience and ability to read SMP drawings are essential.

Competenze

• Significant experience as an SMP Supervisor, preferably with an EPC contractor in a construction or heavy industry environment.
• Demonstrated hydro testing experience.
• Excellent communication, people management and leadership skills.
• Experience working under Permit to Work systems/conditions.
• Able to read SMP drawings and P&ID’s and understand Scope of Works documentation.

Clough is in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

The scope of the project includes upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system. This will enable the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use. The solid material, known as biosolids, will be used as a soil conditioner. Another by-product of the sludge treatment process is biogas, which can be used as a source of energy.

We have an exciting opportunity for an SMP Supervisor - Mechanical, to join the Woodman Point Project team in Henderson.

The SMP Supervisor is responsible for providing on-site leadership and direction for mechanical activities, across all associated structural, mechanical and piping activities. The SMP Supervisor will also help manage site safety, quality and schedule within budget.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement a plan for early SMP mechanical activities in alignment with project schedule
• Manage, inspect and interface with subcontractors
• Support site temporary power requirements and installations
