Job summary

NAB in Warragul, VIC, is seeking a Business Banking Specialist to grow local SME relationships and revenue within our Small Business team. You will partner with local communities, NAB branches and brokers to deliver tailored banking solutions that help small businesses flourish.

You will work in a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture, meet sales targets, manage risk, and apply relationship management and problem-solving skills to support customers’ goals and drive portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Motivation to build genuine personal connections with customers.
• Lending experience in business or retail banking.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the SME market.
• Strong customer and relationship management.
• Problem solving, critical thinking and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow and deepen relationships within local communities to help SMEs achieve their goals.
• Move quickly to grow revenue and drive customer advocacy.
• Be customer obsessed and increase NAB's share as Bank of Choice.
• Understand customer needs to provide tailored holistic banking solutions.
• Collaborate with Retail Branch and Broker network to improve portfolio performance.
