Job summary

SkyPoint is actively seeking a dedicated leader to supervise Attendants and drive exceptional guest experiences during events. You will oversee Bistro & Bar operations, rostering, and pre-shift briefings to align team goals.

In this full-time role, you will train staff, coordinate with the Events Manager, and ensure cleanliness and presentation standards across venues, offering an engaging and dynamic work environment with great views.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in high-volume events or hospitality.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
• Ability to lead by example, train, coach and motivate frontline staff.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Experience with POS database systems and cash handling.
• Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work.
• Availability across five days including weekends, mornings, and evenings.

• Oversee event setup, operation, and pack down. Manual handling tasks are heavily included in this position.
• Collaborate with the Events Manager and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
• Handle guest inquiries during events, ensuring timely resolution and a positive experience.
• Provide training for event and F&B staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to meet event demands.
• Ensure venue and event spaces meet cleanliness and presentation standards before, during, and after events.

About the Candidate

• Previous leadership experience within a similar high-volume events or hospitality environment;
• Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding guest service experience;
• Ability to lead by example, train, coach and motivate and engage team members at the frontline;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
• Experience working with POS Database Systems and competent cash handling/management;
• Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks;
• Availability to be rostered across five days flexibility with working hours is essential as weekend, early morning and evening work is involved.
